Privacy Policy for Du Tsaster City

Last updated: October 3, 2026

This policy explains what Du Tsaster City ("the game", "we", "us") does and does not do with your information. The game is developed by Moshe Dimawala-Adormeo, contactable at pilosoponet@gmail.com.

Summary: Du Tsaster City is a city-building and disaster-resilience game that plays fully offline. It does not require an account, does not use analytics or tracking SDKs, and does not collect, transmit, or sell personal data to any server we operate. The only third-party data processing is Google's advertising and consent-management services described below, and only when you choose to watch an optional sponsor message (a rewarded advertisement).

Information We Do Not Collect

Information Stored On Your Device

The game stores the following only on your own device. This data never leaves your device:

Uninstalling the game or clearing its storage permanently deletes this data. We have no way to recover it, because we never receive a copy of it.

The Windows version can also write a city to a text file and read one back, including from a web address you put in a file yourself. This happens only when you use those keyboard functions, and the game sends nothing about you.

Advertising

Du Tsaster City offers two optional rewarded advertisements ("sponsor messages") on its title screen: the Development Fund (a cash grant for your city) and Social Awareness (24 hours of public oversight of your city's elections). Each can be watched once every 24 hours, and only when you tap its button. There are no banner ads, app-open ads, or forced interstitial ads anywhere in the game, and no ad ever interrupts play.

Rewarded ads are served through Google AdMob. When an ad is requested, Google (and its advertising partners, where consent permits) may process information such as your advertising identifier and general technical and device information to select and serve an ad, in accordance with Google's privacy policy and how Google uses information from apps that use its services.

A reward is given only when AdMob reports that you watched the ad to the end. Clicking an ad never earns anything. If you close an ad early, or no ad is available, you receive no reward and can try again later.

Consent

Where required by applicable law (for example, under the GDPR in the European Economic Area and the UK, or similar regional frameworks), the game uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to ask for your consent before any advertising request is made. You can review or change your advertising choices at any time inside the game under Game > Privacy. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings.

If you do not consent, or consent is not required in your region, the game still works fully; the sponsor messages may simply be unavailable, or served in a non-personalized form, depending on your region and choice.

Children

Du Tsaster City is intended for players aged 13 and older and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us using the details below so we can address it, though, as noted above, we do not collect personal information in the first place.

Data Retention and Deletion

Because all game data is stored locally on your device and never transmitted to us, you can delete it at any time by uninstalling the game or by clearing its storage from your device's app settings. We retain no server-side copy to delete.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes (for example, if a future version adds a feature that processes data differently), we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above before the change takes effect in a published release.
